However, not as much information has been available that details the demographics of drug users or the measures organizations can take for drug testing. In terms of use, the National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH) estimated that in 2013 there were more than 24.5 million Americans over the age of 12 that had used an illegal drug in the previous month. Just under 23 percent of these individuals were between the ages of 18 to 20, while nearly 21 percent were between the ages of 21 to 25, and illicit drug use was spread across ethnicities.
