Lot of large Kunzite gemstones from Afghanistan. Kunzite is the pink to light purple gem variety of the mineral Spodumene. It is a relatively inexpensive gemstone so there is no real incentive to produce a synthetic version. The color of kunzite is distinctive and there are a few other gemstones that it could be confused with.
